Mary Peticca

Mary Peticca is a recent graduate from Saint Joseph’s University where she played goalie for the
Hawks and studied Health Sciences with a minor in Italian Language. During her time as a
student-athlete, she was named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, SJU Athletic
Director’s Honor Roll, Dean’s List, and was accepted into the Gamma Kappa Alpha Honor
Society for academic excellence in Italian. Her athletic career was cut short during her junior
year due to a knee injury, but saw playing time as a sophomore.
Prior to Saint Joseph’s University, Mary played at Lampeter-Strasburg High School where she
helped her team reach District 3 AA semifinals and PIAA quarterfinals. She was named captain
her senior year where she exceeded 280 saves in the season, naming her 2x Lancaster-Lebanon
League First Team All-Star and a 2x All-PhillyLacrosse Central/Eastern PA First-Team All Star.
Mary is currently working as a pharmaceutical scientist at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories and is
entering her 5th year coaching the goalie squad for Phatastix West.
