Sam Hamalak

Sam Hamalak graduated from Cabrini University in 2022 where she played Goalie for the Cavaliers. In her last season as a Cavalier, Sam started and played in all 20 games. She totaled 44 ground balls and 7 caused turnovers. She had a total of 122 saves and a save percentage of .375.

In 2021, Sam was named to the All-Atlantic East Second Team, appeared in and started all 11 games, and led the conference with a 9.63 goals against average. She totaled 51 saves and ranked second on the team with 23 ground balls.

Sam started every game both her freshman and sophomore year.  She was named Defender of the Week during her sophomore season.  Sam ended her freshman season with a total of 159 saves. She was named to the ECAC all-tournament team after bringing her team to a championship win over Drew University.

Sam is a 2018 graduate from Garnet Valley High school where she started every game her senior year. She was apart of a PIAA 3a State Championship her freshman year and led her team to a District and Central League Championship her senior year. She was named to the 2nd team All-Central League and 1st team All-Delco. After playing for Phantastix’s throughout High School, Sam is excited to now be a Coach for the program.
