Olivia Dirks

Olivia is a graduate senior midfielder at North Carolina where she is an impact player for the TarHeels. Olivia was a key addition to the UNC midfield, making a difference across the field. Olivia specializes in the draw control.

Prior to UNC, Olivia played at Penn State University. Olivia played in every game during this season, she finished 3rd in the Big Ten in draw controls per game, and led Penn State in draw controls and controlled turnovers.  A three-sport captain and athlete in high school, Olivia is a 2019 graduate of The Episcopal Academy, where she led her team to three straight Inter-Ac Championships, and was a two time MVP of the Inter-Ac league.  Olivia is part of the U19 US National Team, is a two-time US Lacrosse All-American, and a four time Under Armour All-American, including a first wave selection to the Under Armour Senior Game.  She was the No. 3 incoming freshman on Inside Lacrosse’s Power 100, and was named to both the USA Today and Inside Lacrosse High School Teams.

She was selected as the Philly Lacrosse Player of the Year, the Delaware County Player and Athlete of the Year, and was a two-time finalist for the prestigious Heather Leigh Albert Award.  She was also named an All-American in soccer her senior year.

Olivia will be coaching the 2025 Phantastix team this summer.
