Kellie Ann Matey

Kellie Ann is a rising senorr at the University of Delaware where she plays defense and is Captain for the Blue Hens. Kellie Ann made her collegiate debut in 2021 where she recorded 1 draw control. In the 2022 season, she started and played in all 17 games. She totaled 22 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers and 33 draw controls. In her 3 years playing, she has scored 3 goals on 4 shots.  As a starter on defense, her 2023 season was cut short due to injury, but she still notched 1 goal, 17 ground balls, 6 caused turnovers and 16 draw controls.

Prior to Delaware, Kellie Ann played midfield at Archbishop Carroll. Kellie Ann was a two-sport athlete playing soccer as well. As a freshman, she helped guide the Patriots to a 22-1 record and the PIAA Class AAA State Championship. As a junior, she helped the team win their 19th straight league championship. Kellie Ann was awarded Second Team All-Catholic for both soccer and lacrosse and first and second academic honors.

Kellie Ann is one of four girls. Her older sister, Megh, played attack at Ohio State. Her other older sister, Rachel, currently plays at James Madison University. Her younger sister, Mary, plays for Phantastix and Archbishop Carroll as a 2023 defender. Kellie Ann played for Phantastix and is excited to help coach the 2023 team this summer.
