Jackie Depetris Sexton

With over 15 years of coaching experience, Coach Jackie brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to the Phantastix Lacrosse Program. Before transitioning to coaching, Jackie had an illustrious playing career. She began her journey at Archbishop Carroll High School, where she earned All-Catholic, All-Main Line, and All-Delco honors, setting the stage for a standout college career. Jackie went on to play at the Division I level at Syracuse University, where she was named team captain her senior year. During her time at Syracuse, she helped lead the team to two Big East Conference Championships and made four NCAA tournament appearances, including two Final Four showings.

After college, Jackie continued her commitment to lacrosse by coaching at the United States Naval Academy. She then pursued her passion for healthcare, earning a bachelors degree in Nursing followed by a graduate degree as a Nurse Practitioner. Despite her medical career, Jackie has remained deeply involved in lacrosse, coaching at various club, camp, and recreational levels, including the Phantastix Little Laxers Clinic, as well as becoming certified as an Official.

Jackie’s coaching philosophy centers on instilling a love for the game, building self-confidence, and fostering a strong work ethic in younger athletes. She credits much of her athletic and career success to the values instilled by her parents and the lessons learned through sports from a young age. Now, as a proud mother of three young daughters, Jackie is thrilled to be a coach and role model, not only for her children but for the entire Phantastix youth community. She is excited to guide the next generation of lacrosse players in their journey on and off the field.
